About Festa Italiana
Who We Are
Festa Italiana is a nonprofit organization founded in 2018 by local Italian-Americans dedicated to celebrating and preserving Italian culture in New Britain, Connecticut. Rooted in tradition, community, and heritage, the organization brings people together through food, music, entertainment, family activities, cultural celebrations, and community partnerships.
Each year, Festa Italiana creates a welcoming space for residents, families, vendors, performers, and visitors to experience the pride and spirit of Italian-American culture. From classic Italian food and live entertainment to traditions like the procession of Saint Ann, the festival honors the past while creating meaningful memories for future generations.
Beyond the celebration itself, Festa Italiana is committed to giving back through the Festa Italiana Scholarship, which supports local students and reflects the organization’s mission to strengthen community, celebrate heritage, and invest in the next generation.
Through its annual festival, scholarship program, and ongoing community involvement, Festa Italiana continues to enrich New Britain’s cultural fabric while celebrating the values of family, faith, generosity, and togetherness.
